SS United States Featured on Front Page of Travel Weekly

March 3, 2010 – Travel Weekly, the national newspaper of the travel industry, features a major article by Johanna Jainchill about ship preservation in its current issue. Dan McSweeney, the Conservancy’s executive director, is interviewed along with maritime historians John Maxtone-Graham and Peter Knego. Given the current “Red Alert” status of the SS United States, this article should help bring the ship’s plight to the travel industry.
